Reporting to the Associate Creative Director of the Design & Brand team, this role offers the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic environment where your ideas are valued and encouraged to shine. Responsibilities

  • Email Design: Create visually captivating email campaigns that engage our audience and yield impactful results.
  • UI Prototyping: Conceptualize and prototype user interfaces that are intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
  • Conceptualization: Bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table, contributing to brainstorming sessions and design discussions to elevate our brand and products.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and development to ensure design consistency and alignment with brand guidelines and UI prototypes.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve your skills and contribute fresh perspectives to our projects.Reporting: Collaborate with your manager to establish weekly project priorities and delivery deadlines. Provide weekly status updates to your manager, summarizing your progress for the week, including any project delays or early completions.
Qualifications
  • A passion for pets and a commitment to our mission of making veterinary care accessible to all.
  • Excellent visual storyteller
  • Strong self-motivation and thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Ability to seamlessly transition between different design functions, encompassing visual strategy, content strategy, organizing and managing design tools and file libraries, as well as software proficiency.
  • Enthusiastic about apps, music, and art.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and AI tools. Knowledgeable in UI/UX principles and adept at prototyping with Sketch.
  • Knowledgeable in copyright and licensing rules for imagery, fonts, and intellectual property rights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with coding skills as a plus.
Requirements
  • Portfolio submission focusing on email, website, and UI design
  • BFA in Graphic Design is required (or equivalent field), along with a portfolio showcasing recent accomplishments. Collaborative project experience must be clearly tagged with the candidate's specific contributions.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Workspace, Jira, and Agile methodology

$65,000 - $75,000 a year
• The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
• In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation.
